The Fjallraven Abisko Endurance 4 is a spacious 4 man tent designed for all but the most extreme of weather. The classic tunnel tent design offers exceptional room for boots, packs and equipment. The large vestibule can be accessed in two ways. Firstly a large door allows easy access to the main body of the tent and secondly at smaller 'hatch' at the end of the tent provides an additional access point to your kit. This is particualry useful in strong winds and bad weather. The sleeping area again is very spacious - 4 can comfortably fit inside. At just under 4.4kg, the Abisko Endurance 4 is a very good lightweight option for experienced trekkers. At just over 1.1kg per person, it competes with all but the very lightest of 1 man tents.
DAC alloy poles and pegs have been used throughout, as you would expect from a top end tent. The flysheet is made from Fjallraven's TripleRip siliconised nylon. However, Fjallraven use two different weight fabrics providing extra abrasion resistance on the lower sections of the tent. The Fjallraven Abisko Endurance 4 is a great choice for trekkers and backpackers looking for a spacious tent for use in all weathers. It's the kind of thing I'd take on a trip around Scandinavia, across the alps or perhaps exploring the wilderness of Alaska. It is a very highly specced tent and one of our favourites here in the office.
