The Hanwag Bergler is a boot built to last.
Hanwag have been making leather boots with genuine double stitching for over 90 years. It's a difficult craft to master, but Hanwag are true specialists and one of the only outdoor companies who still have the ability to make boots in this style. Double stitched boots are fully resoleable and every pair is handcrafted.
The Bergler is made from a robust nubuck leather (in an especially fetching shade of brown - Hazelnut brown in fact), while inside the chrome-free tanned, anti-allergic leather lining ensures a comfortable and breathable environment for the feet. The sturdy tread pattern of the durable Vibram Tessin wedge sole offers good grip and traction on rugged terrain in both forest and mountain areas.
All in all, the Bergler is about as good as a walking boot gets. Designed to last a lifetime.
