The Hanwag Women's Banks GTX Boots is a classic and much loved model. The primary focus on the redesign was to improve the comfort and reduce the weight. First off, they added PU to the midsole to improve the shock absorbancy and overall comfort. This results in the boot feel softer, whilist still offering good stability. Hanwag partnered with Vibram to build a new sole unit which offers excellent traction. The upper is taken care of by a lightweight nubuck leather, which offers great durability. The nubuck leather is particulary soft too, which help in improving the out-of-the-box comfort.
All in all, the Hanwag Women's Banks GTX is one of our favourite boots for hiking and rambling, or just general outdoor use. We particulary like the Asphalt/Ocean colour!
