Nordisk not only specialises in outdoor gear for extreme conditions, but also in high quality leisure wear.
The company was founded in Denmark, 1901. Originally called 'Northern Feather', at that time the brand focused solely on products made with down and feathers. In 1967 they noticed a growing demand for quality outdoor products and decided to launch a new subsidiary brand: 'Nordisk Freizeit'.
In 1991 the brand changed their name simply to Nordisk. It remains a dedicated, European brand but has really stretched its wings over the past few years. You'll now find Nordisk products in countries around the globe, including Japan and Korea.
