The Outdoor Research Men's Crocodile GORE-TEX Gaiters are award-winning, waterproof, and breathable GORE-TEX® gaiters that are tough as nails for keeping debris out of mountaineering and hiking boots and legs protected from the elements.
"Crocs" are rugged gaiters, a customer favourite, and an Outdoor Research legacy accessory. Their fitted design keeps snow, rocks, and debris out of your socks and shoes while traveling through harsh environments. The waterproof, windproof, breathable fabric keeps lower legs dry in nearly all conditions, and triple bar-tacked BioThane® webbing and abrasion-resistant Cordura® components provide long-lasting durability. The double-stitched front closure and abrasion-resistant design make these gaiters tough enough to handle any terrain.
Compatible with hiking boots or 3-season mountaineering boots thanks to reinforced boot lace hooks and an instep strap. Note: We recommend sizing down one full size for the best fit with lightweight hiking boots, shoes, or trail runners. When wearing your gaiters properly, the instep strap buckle should lie on the side of your boot.

Poor quality buckle
Having purchased these gaiters on 6th November 2024 order number #902025083 entirely due to their great reviews, I am very disappointed that one of the metal buckles has broken only after being worn on three occasions. The gaiters material works well and I am very impressed with their quality. Some reviews show the under strap to be replaceable but this is not the case on my pair. It looks like I may have to cut off the straps and use them without the underfoot securing method. Such a shame as an otherwise excellent product has been spoiled but an inferior metal buckles.
