This 1.2m (4ft) Adjustable Pole, from MSR, has been made from strong and lightweight aircraft grade aluminium and is easily adjustable from 119cm up to 140cm which makes it ideal for both MSR® shelters and other makes of shelter too as it is a common height range for smaller-size tents, shelters and backpacking tents too.
Lengthening the poles is very quick and easy to do, simply pull the silver spike at the top end to lengthen and then lock into place by lining up the silver button with one of the pre-prepared holes (there are also black lines that can be seen through the holes to ensure that the silver button will be in the correct position). To retract the pole just press the button in!
