The Vango Aotrom Thermo Platinum XL Sleeping Mat is the pinnicle of the Aotrom range. The Aotrom Thermo Platinum XL is packed full of tech and is designed to ensure the warmest, most comfortable night sleep on your next backpacking trip.
The unique baffle design allows your body to conform perfectly, allowing for support for weary limbs after a long day on the trail. The air filled baffles are welded in place, reducing bulk and weight. A lightweight 20D ripstop nylon is used on both the top and bottom of the mat. However, the underside also features a aluminium reflective coating to retain heat when in use and keep you warmer at night.
On the inside is the Exkin Platinum and DuPont Insulation. This combination is lightweight and features a thin metalised layer applied to its surface. It's also quiet, unlike many competitors. The multi layer insulation will keep you warm from heat loss through the ground when the temperature starts to drop.
