The Vango Apex 2 sleeping bag is an enviromentally friendly synthetic sleeping bag, designed to mimic the performance of down. Weighing in at only 1.75kg, the Apex 2 is amongst the lightest synthetic bags around.
Designed for Spring and Autumn use, with a comfort limit temperature rating of -6°C, the Apex 2 packs a whole host of technology into a small sleeping bag.
Firstly, the lining is made from Polair EcoNet - a recycled 20D nylon made from repurposed fishing nets. On the inside is the EcoLoft Insulation, which is designed to mimic the characteristics and performance of real down filling, without the drawbacks. Combine this with Vango's Thermal Reverb, which reflect heat back towards the body and you have a very capable sleeping bag.
