This wider version is a few millimeters wider than the regular and has a few millimeters more volume. Whilst this may not sound like a lot, it really does make a difference and has proven to be a very popular choice.
Featuring a suede and fabric upper and a reliable Gore-Tex membrane to keep you dry, you could be forgiven for thinking, that's about it But AKU continually develop and improve their boots. In this case, their Air8000 technology improves breathability by 11.5 times when compared to conventional construction techniques. They acheive this by applying small dots of glue between layers, strategically positioned to ensure maximum breathability. An additional benefit is the improved drying times!
